Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-duty Forklift Operator to join our production team at our facility in Simpsonville, SC. This isn't a "light box" warehouse job-you'll be moving heavy-duty masonry products in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment.

What You'll Do as a Forklift Driver:

Move pallets of finished cinderblocks from the production line to the storage yard and onto flatbed trailers.
Organize stock by type and strength, ensuring the yard remains navigable and safe.
Perform daily pre-shift inspections on your lift (checking fluids, hydraulics, and tires).
Navigate tight corners and high-traffic areas while maintaining awareness of pedestrians and machinery.

Skills and Experience

At least 1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and a noisy industrial setting.
Exceptional spatial awareness-cinderblocks are heavy and brittle; precision is key to preventing breakage and maintaining a safe work environment.
