Travel Physical Therapist - $1,812 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is hiring a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a facility in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours, days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment and modalities. Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists and other professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning for patient transitions. Perform duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates are welcome. Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use PC skills. Physical abilities – stay stationary, move equipment 50-100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills – work effectively with various personnel with a positive attitude. Technical/motor skills – perform fine manipulation, assist with procedures or equipment. Mental requirements – manage frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, handle irregular schedules. Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication.
