Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in systems integration, test and validation, or hardware development
- Deep hands-on experience with electro-mechanical and optomechanical hardware (lasers, motion stages, control electronics)
- Proficiency with test automation software (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB preferred)
- Ability to diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domains
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience with precision motion systems, optical alignment, and laser-based equipment
- Semiconductor manufacturing equipment or capital equipment experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead hardware integration and validation of complex laser-based manufacturing systems including optical, mechanical, electrical, and precision motion subsystems
- Develop and execute detailed hardware test procedures from subsystem to system-level validation ensuring performance meets design and reliability requirements
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control domains
- Design and implement test automation solutions to enable efficient and repeatable system verification and validation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance
