Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ACLS and BLS certifications (must be from the American Heart Association) - 2 years recent Telemetry/LTAC experience in a hospital setting Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients. This care is delivered by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is shown in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is required. Patient care priorities must be delegated commensurate with the education and experience of available staff. The Registered Nurse provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
