Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 hours per week accepted | 13–26 week contract | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric general Medical/Surgical patients on a unit with a daily census of approximately 43
• Administer and manage insulin drips and heparin drips
• Perform wound vac dressing changes and manage high-flow oxygen; support limited short-term BiPAP with respiratory support as needed
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as required on night shifts
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding as needed
• Serve as a member of the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team; may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Proficiency with insulin drips and heparin drips required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Must be available to work every other weekend and required holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification
• Prior charge nurse experience
