Cardiac Sonographer

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM, Monday to Friday with on-call required 1-2 nights per week.

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiography studies, including Doppler and color flow imaging, to assist in the diagnosis of cardiac conditions. This role requires interaction with patients to obtain a history and explain the procedure, as well as collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

• Conduct echocardiograms and assist in conducting cardiovascular testing.
• Document and present sonographic findings to healthcare providers.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding the procedures.
• Participate in continuous education and training in cardiology.

• Current state licensure or certification in cardiac sonography (e.g., RDCS).
• Experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting.
• Completion of a recognized cardiac sonography training program.
