Description

• Conduct assessments on patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting customized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Implement targeted physical therapy techniques emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility policies and regulatory mandates
• Partake in team care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

• Previous experience is strongly desired
