What You’ll Do Participate in a comprehensive 12‑week training program designed to set you up for success. Deliver a world‑class patient experience by handling billing inquiries with professionalism and care. Update patient demographics accurately and efficiently. Resolve billing concerns and provide clear, empathetic support to patients. Navigate challenging conversations with patience and professionalism. Collaborate with a team of Customer Account Analysts, Team Leads, and Supervisors to improve processes and enhance patient satisfaction. Shift: 8am–5pm, non‑negotiable. Work From Home (WFH): This position offers you the opportunity to work from home. Additional details regarding work from home are to be discussed during the interview. Experience : 2years directly related medical billing and customer service experience for billing inquiries. Preferred: Education : Some college. Job Duties Answer incoming calls pertaining to patient inquiries. Handle outbound dialer calls related to patient balances. Take credit card payments over the telephone and post to patient accounts accurately. Set up monthly payment plans on patient accounts. Add or correct insurance registration and files claims accordingly. Update demographics to include address and telephone numbers based on patient telephone calls. Document all actions taken on accounts in the system account notes to ensure all prior actions are noted and understandable by others. Assist patients with various MyChart billing inquiries to include payment, payment plans, and insurance updates. Assist patient with questions regarding their Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Review accounts to resolve discrepancies in account balances and ensure payments are in accordance with the respective contract, appropriate discounts or applicable write‑off completed. Including posting any undistributed credits while talking to the patient. Attend seminars, webinars, workshops, and actively participate in Occupational Training and Development and Compliance educational activities.
