Job Description

Job Summary:
Facilities require a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to support procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology suite. The professional will assist with invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile conditions and patient safety throughout.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies for cardiac interventions.
• Assist during procedures by applying monitors, preparing access sites, and maintaining sterile fields.
• Record procedural data, fluoroscopy time, and radiation doses accurately.
• Monitor patient comfort and educate patients about the procedure and equipment used.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed to protect staff and patients.
• Maintain documentation and logs regarding procedural details and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program.
• Valid AART registration and Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in sterile technique and invasive procedures.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and fluoroscopy equipment.
