This position plays a vital role in supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral development, while ensuring they can access their education in a safe and supportive environment. Requirements (Michigan): Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Current Michigan licensure as an LMSW or LLMSW Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Social Worker Approval Previous experience working with K12 students is strongly preferred Responsibilities: Provide direct individual and group counseling services to students with emotional, behavioral, or social challenges Conduct social work evaluations and contribute to multidisciplinary team assessments Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve attendance, classroom participation, and student engagement Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address barriers to learning Assist in crisis intervention, behavior planning, and conflict resolution Why Work with Blazer Jobs?
