Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy required.
• Previous experience working within a school setting is highly valued.
• Familiarity and knowledge of Assistive Technology and its classroom applications preferred.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Ability to work well with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations-both formal and informal-to assess and identify students' needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy interventions, aligning with IEP goals.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in a dynamic elementary school environment.
• Track student progress, maintain compliance records, and document interventions meticulously.
• Take an active role in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide expertise in Assistive Technology: evaluations, recommendations, and practical implementation.
• Support student access to curriculum and school environments through targeted therapeutic strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with special education staff, general education teachers, families, and related providers.
