CDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $35 Per Hour
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Scotia, NY.
CDL A Details
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3-7am Start time
- Pay: $35 Per Hour depending on experience
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,300 - $1,400
Route Type: Local
Freight / Load Type: Hauling bleach, floor strippers, hand sanitizer, etc.
Equipment: 2025 trucks, automatic transmissions
Handling: pallet jack unload
CDL A Minimum Requirements:
License: CDL A
Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Responsibilities:
Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
Transport bleach, floor strippers, hand sanitizer, etc. in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required handling tasks including breaking down pallets
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
