Pharmacy Assistant
Louisville, KY (5101 Jeff Commerce Drive)
$19/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (overtime may be required)

Hiring a detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support prescription packing and shipping in a fast-paced, automated refill/fulfillment environment. This role is hands-on and production-focused—ideal for someone who can follow on-screen prompts, work efficiently with accuracy, and maintain strict HIPAA compliance.

What you’ll do:

Process prescription orders for shipping
Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions and prepare orders for shipment
Sort orders by store location and place into totes
Load packaged product into trucks and support shipping workflow
Maintain steady production pace to hit daily volume and accuracy goals
Follow SOPs and protect patient privacy (HIPAA)
Identify issues and escalate to leadership when needed

What you need:

Pharmacy Assistant certification (required)
Willing to obtain KY Board of Pharmacy Technician License after hire (employee-paid; $25; can be completed on-site)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow on-screen instructions
Comfortable with repetitive work in a production/warehouse-style environment
Able to lift/carry 20–25 lbs
Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime as needed
