Position Summary

This position will be tasked with the day-to-day security of Green Peak Innovation facilities including SkyMint, Silo59 and SkyMint retail locations.

Examples of Security Guard Job Tasks:

Perform roving patrol
Log visitors and validate credentials

Prevent employee theft
Ability to learn and proficiently operate security system
Identify internal and external security risks
Other tasks as assigned by Director of Security or Security Manager

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possession of current, valid, Michigan concealed carry weapon permit

Possession of a smart phone that can be used in the course of employment
Military, security or law enforcement experience preferred
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Able to perform duties related to moderate to ardous physical exertion involving standing for prolonged periods, walking, running, and climbing stairs or ladders
