Associate Attorney

Responsibilities
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
- Prepare correspondences and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- Candidates must have passed the bar exam and possess a current State of California Bar Card
- Juris doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
- Effective communications skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff, clients and opposing counsel
- Experience propounding and responding to all forms of discovery
- Ability to manage your own caseload from inception to case resolution
