This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in shop and field environments while adhering to all safety, quality, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical welding skills, can interpret drawings and weld symbols, and works effectively as part of a project team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other materials as requiredRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, shop drawings, and specificationsFit, tack, weld, and fabricate piping and structural components accuratelyInspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standardsMaintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe working conditionFollow all OSHA regulations and company safety policiesCoordinate with pipefitters, foremen, and supervisors to meet project schedulesAssist with shop fabrication and field installation as neededComplete assigned documentation accurately and timelyEducation, Training, Licenses, and CertificationsJourneyman-level welding experience in commercial or industrial constructionProficiency in TIG welding; MIG and Stick experience preferredAbility to pass welding qualification tests as requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed instructionsOSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour certification preferredReliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as requiredOther RequirementsPunctual, dependable, and safety-focused with a professional attitudeStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to travel to job sites as neededPhysical ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbsPossession of appropriate hand tools and power toolsValid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification requirementsAbility to pass a background check, drug test, and post-employment fitness test in compliance with company policyWe Are Proud to Offer Our Team MembersCompetitive pay based on experienceMedical, Vision, and Dental insurancePaid holidays and generous PTO (2 weeks after 90 days, up to 5 weeks)401(k) Plan with company investment optionsTraining and professional development programsCompany-paid Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee discount programsCompany-paid and voluntary life insurance and AD&D insuranceCompany-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability insuranceHealth Savings Account with company contributionsVehicle purchase discount programsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
