Hospice CNA-{171390} Location:Virginia Beach, VA 23452 (Onsite/field-based in the community) Coverage Area:Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake Pay:$16.86/hr. Mileage Reimbursement:$0.43/mile Schedule:Monday-Friday,8:00am-5:00pm(no on-call) Productivity expectation:32-34 visits per week Position Overview We are hiring aHospice CNAto support patients in their homes and/or care facilities. This role focuses on providing compassionate daily living assistance, following established care plans, and communicating patient status updates to the nursing team. Key Responsibilities Assist patients withactivities of daily living (ADLs)including bathing and hygiene Follow CNAstandards of careincludinginfection control Observe and report changes in condition (ex: skin breakdown, new complaints) to theRN/SN Support basic household tasks as needed (making beds, laundry, dishes, meal prep) Provide guidance to families onnutrition, cleanliness, and household activitiesas appropriate Maintain accurate communication and teamwork in a hospice environment
