SMT Operator

SMT Operator Nesco Resource is looking for an SMT Operator located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM Pay: Starts at $17/Hour, depending on experience Job Summary: Responsible for programming and operating SMT machines to assemble printed circuit boards according to customer specifications. Key Duties: Set up and run SMT machines Program equipment for production jobs Perform assembly tasks and assist other departments as needed Follow quality standards and report equipment maintenance needs Maintain a clean, organized work area Support internal audits and process improvements Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred Minimum 1 year of SMT operation and programming experience Ability to read assembly drawings and identify electronic components Knowledge of SMT/through-hole assembly and IPC-A-610 standards Strong soldering skills; Universal equipment experience a plus Basic computer skills and English proficiency Standing and operating equipment for extended periods Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Use of magnification tools as needed Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
