Ariba Strategic Sourcing Implementation Consultants Role: Ariba Strategic Sourcing Implementation Consultants Duration: 4 months with likely 2‑month extension Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Employment Type: Contract Responsibilities Assist clients in the implementation and support of Ariba solutions for both direct and indirect spend and improve business processes. Manage large software applications, gather internal and external client requirements, and translate them into compliant, cost‑competitive solutions. Interact with client buyers and influencers, contribute to new business development, and design, cost, document, propose, and transition technical solutions. Lead complex onsite/offshore Ariba implementations with proven success over 3+ years. Develop solutions addressing common issues in direct material sourcing and contract management. Gather functional specifications, configure and develop technical components, and test and deploy them in an SAP environment. Supervise teams, create trust, encourage diverse views, and provide written and verbal feedback. Collaborate with Technical, Solution, and Operations teams to interpret RFP requirements and craft satisfying solutions. Manage Ariba implementations. Qualifications 10 years of experience deploying Ariba-based spend management solutions. Bachelor's degree. Proven extensive knowledge and success with consulting, designing, implementing, supporting, and leading medium‑sized consulting engagements within the SAP product suite (Ariba On Demand Strategic Sourcing). Experience leading or assisting with functional specification gathering, configuration, technical development, and offshore development resources.
