Prepares quality and representative tissue sections on glass slides for microscopic evaluation and performs special stains, including immunohistochemical (IHC) procedures as requested by the pathologist.RequirementsSuccessful completion of Histotechnician Program from a NAACLS accredited School; or an Associate Degree and training at a hospital and met ASCP eligibility requirements for certification; or ASCP certified. 2 years experience in Histology preferred.ASCP (preferred) or eligibleWorking knowledge of Special Stains/IHC TechniquePerforms frozen sectionsMin USD $26.13/Hr.Max USD $43.11/Hr.Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
