We are looking for an experienced assistant general manager with solid leadership abilities who can grow with us. You will collaborate with our general manager to plan and oversee the hotel's daily operations, and assume the GM responsibilities in their absence. This position is responsible for managing employees and ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience with our services. Our ideal candidate is passionate about customer service while also maintaining the hotel's budget and quality standards. You must have 3 years of management experience in the hospitality industry, and a bachelor's degree in hospitality management is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:

• Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support
• Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed
• Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability
• Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met
• Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas

• Lead daily hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth service delivery.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, maintaining our commitment to 5-star service standards.
• Monitor financial performance, assisting in budget preparation and cost management to achieve profitability goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Coordinate with department heads to streamline processes and improve service quality across all hotel functions.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree with preference given to those with a hospitality management degree
• You must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team, preferably in a hospitality role
