Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in our modern outpatient office located in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Within our supportive and well-equipped facility, our team works in a friendly, patient-centric atmosphere that promotes collaboration among staff. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the individual needs of patients, recognizing their goals and developing effective treatment strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately one person per hour to ensure personalized attention and high-quality care.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques to address each patient's specific needs.
• Implement cost-effective therapies designed to improve range of motion and mobility, focusing on sustainable outcomes.
• Reduce reliance on medications by recommending alternative non-surgical intervention strategies when feasible.
• Design and administer customized fitness and wellness programs to enhance patients' physical performance and quality of life.
• Monitor and document patient progress in a timely manner, ensuring precise communication with both patients and other healthcare providers.
• Foster patient motivation throughout their treatment journey to enhance recovery and promote independence.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to develop integrated care plans that reinforce the holistic wellness of each patient.
• Maintain impeccable documentation of all patient interactions and treatment sessions to support care continuity and practice compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of patients, primarily focusing on those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will empower patients to regain their strength, mobility, and overall functionality, catering to both younger and older demographics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is required.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques that can effectively address diverse patient conditions.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing evidence-based exercise programs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred, showcasing your familiarity with specific patient needs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life Orthopedic Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
