• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $70.00$75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (4x12 Hours) 19:007:00 / Day (4x12 Hours) 7:0019:30. Position will start on nights and could flip to days after approximately 1 month. More info can be discussed in the interview. This is dependent upon the needs of the unit.
• Travel Requirements: Must have previous travel experience.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Telemetry Float position with a primary location in the North Pavilion, which is located across the street from the University campus. As this is a float position, there is an expectation that there may be floating requirements to the University campus to work on adult Tele floors.

Key Responsibilities

• Float within the North Pavilion as the primary location, with potential floating requirements to the University campus to work on adult Tele floors.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and care consistent with adult Tele floor standards.
• Utilize Epic for all charting and clinical documentation.
• Adhere to weekend and holiday coverage requirements (Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday).
• Adapt to scheduling needs of the unit, including potential shift changes from nights to days.

Required Skills

• Must have Epic charting experience.
• Must have previous travel nursing experience.
• Ability to float between campus locations as required by unit needs.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts (nights transitioning to days based on unit needs).

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Registered Nurse experience required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Float position requiring movement between the North Pavilion and the University campus.
• Weekend requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH).
• Shift: Nights (4x12 hours, 19:007:00), with potential flip to Days (4x12 hours, 7:0019:30) after approximately 1 month.
• Flu vaccination: Required Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed.
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required.

Important Notes

• Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam.
• Both exams allow 1 attempt only. If the traveler does not pass, the contract is cancelled immediately.
• Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs.
