Quick Facts Location: 17043 Main Street, Hesperia, CA 92345 Start Date: 07/18/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Clinic only Hours/Week: 40 hours/week; 4 weeks/month Employment Type: Locum, possibility for perm conversion Licensure: Active CA license, BLS required, DEA Experience: 1+ years pediatric outpatient experience, EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred) Travel: Local candidates preferred; travel reimbursement available if needed Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour (rate to be filled out on bid) Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Malpractice insurance Optional overtime What You'll Do Provide outpatient pediatric care in a busy clinic environment Manage an average of 25+ pediatric patients daily Conduct physical exams, diagnose, and treat common pediatric illnesses Document patient interactions accurately using EMR (EPIC experience preferred) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care Educate families on health maintenance and preventative care Assist with scheduling and patient follow-ups as needed What You Need Required: Valid California state license BLS certification 1+ years outpatient pediatric experience EMR experience (EPIC preferred) Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish Knowledge of high desert area and communities served Willingness to commit to a full-time schedule About the Assignment This assignment involves providing outpatient pediatric care at a busy clinic located in Hesperia, California. The clinic serves a socioeconomic challenged community with a high no-show rate, so flexibility in scheduling is preferred. Provider will not require privileges and can start as soon as access is set up. This opportunity offers potential for a locum-to-permanent transition based on mutual fit.
