Field Service Engineer - Orange County / Los Angeles, CA

BD seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems across the Orange County and Los Angeles region, including Department of Defense facilities. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining proprietary hardware and software while maintaining regulatory compliance and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems across assigned region
- Respond to, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders within service-level expectations
- Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components with full case ownership
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and perform installations, repairs, and calibrations
- Document service activities, expenses, and time logs accurately using approved tools
Requirements
- 1–3 years combined hardware, software, and IT support experience
- Medical or electromechanical device repair experience required
- Associate degree in related field or 3+ years field service experience
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift 85 lbs frequently and 115 lbs occasionally
