Chemistry Adjunct Instructor

To support online baccalaureate degree programs, the part-time Chemistry Adjunct Instructor will facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Introductory Chemistry, providing timely feedback and fostering student interaction in an asynchronous learning environment. Key responsibilities Facilitate engagement and instruction for 5-week undergraduate chemistry courses with an average of 20 students Provide timely feedback and actively participate in discussion board tasks to enhance student learning Demonstrate commitment to the institution's values and contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment Required qualifications Terminal degree (PhD) in chemistry or related discipline, or a master's degree with significant professional experience Proficiency in operating personal computers and software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills using email and digital conferencing tools Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
