Job Summary:

Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - LTC
Location: Vestal, NY 13850
Duration: 16 weeks
Work Schedule: Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00 19:15/Night 5x8-Hour (22:45 - 07:15)/Night (3x12 Hours) 18:45 7:15/Day (5x8 Hours) 6:45 15:15/Evening (5x8 Hours) 14:45 23:15 (All shifts available)

**Pay Rate: $21 for Local and $24 for Travellers**

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality of life.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, and feeding as needed.
• Deliver compassionate care to residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia while promoting dignity and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the PointClickCare (PCC) electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans.
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and state regulatory requirements.

• Active and unrestricted New York State License required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation, medical-surgical, hospital, or skilled nursing settings accepted.
• Knowledge of caring for Alzheimer's and dementia patient populations .
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment, including every other weekend and assigned shifts.
