CT/X-Ray Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 8-hour afternoon shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist with a strong background in CT imaging to perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking. This role will primarily focus on CT imaging, with a requirement for X-Ray experience as well.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate accurate diagnoses in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
• Maintain proper care of clients and adhere to infection control practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.
• Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats.
• Complete mandatory education, including training on blood borne pathogens and infection control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience required.
• Massachusetts Radiology License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and Radiography.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
