About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Property to join their team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in property and facilities management, particularly in highly regulated environments. The role is pivotal in the strategic management and operational oversight of the company's leased property portfolio, with a focus on safety, compliance, and maintenance. Responsibilities include building and executing capital improvement and refurbishment programs, as well as leading a team of property, project, and facilities management specialists. The Head of Property will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement, including maintaining relationships with landlords, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Applicants for the Head of Property position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in property and/or facilities management, with a proven track record in managing large property portfolios and capital investment projects. Strong financial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster collaboration and operational excellence are essential. The role requires a candidate with a safety and compliance mindset, who is adept at overseeing capital refurbishment projects and facilities upgrades. A background in early education and/or human services is preferred, and the role may involve regular interstate travel.
