Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Washington , MO! This is a 3+ months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist II

Location: Washington, MO 63090

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $24-25/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient identity and demographic information before specimen collection.
• Obtain patient signatures and ensure specimens are correctly labeled in the patient's presence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required records.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collections following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service with patients, clients, and healthcare staff.
• Support additional Patient Service Centers or physician offices as business needs require.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 20-25 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
