This role combines front desk administrative support with medical records processing, including scheduling, patient communication, document management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients in person and over the phoneSchedule appointments and manage provider calendars using EMR systemsCollect payments and support administrative billing tasksMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsScan, upload, and organize medical documentationProcess and track medical records requestsPrepare and audit medical record packetsCoordinate with clinical and administrative teamsPerform general clerical and administrative dutiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred1–2 years of healthcare or customer service experienceBilingual (English/Spanish) requiredProficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periodsFrequent use of hands for typing and paperworkOccasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 poundsHIPAA ComplianceMaintain strict confidentiality of patient informationVerify patient identity before releasing informationSecure physical and electronic recordsComplete required HIPAA trainingReport any suspected breaches immediately
