Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Responsibilities Prepare food according to item specifications, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, and equipment sanitation. Wrap, label, and store merchandise to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain prepared foods area to high quality, keeping shelves clean, temperature controlled, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality items. Serve ready‑to‑eat food to members. Maintain the sales floor per company policies – handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages. Keep the area clean, sanitized, and member‑ready. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to stay current on product specifications and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Leverage digital tools for production, training, and product quality decisions. Drive performance of the area: stock, rotate merchandise, uphold quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, guide peers, and address customer needs. Act as a talent ambassador by modeling high‑quality service and products and advocating for the department. Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards. Prioritize tasks using policies, data, and resources; communicate progress and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required training and assessments within prescribed time periods. Preferred Qualifications: Food Safety certification (Food Handler Certification). Experience & passion for fresh food. Strong customer focus and problem‑solving ability. Comfortable with change and ability to handle multiple tasks.
