Responsibilities include addressing potential and actual health and illness problems for patients and families. The role involves operating in a step-down unit with designated patient ratios. Rotation of weekends is required. No on-call requirements are expected. Travelers may float to other locations if census is low on the home unit. Candidates must provide a complete work history verification for the past 7 years. Modules are completed during orientation, and time spent may vary by specialty.
