Goalkeeper Part-Time Assistant Coach

Role Summary:Serve as the position-specific coach for all goalkeepers. Design and execute goalkeeper-specific training sessions and player development philosophy. Coach goalkeepers in the team setting. Responsible for the management and coaching of goalkeepers during games. Perform video analysis to improve individual and team performance. Create Individual Development Plans for goalkeepers and offer support and feedback throughout the season. Provide mid-year and end-of-year comprehensive player evaluation review to each goalkeeper. Responsible for clear communication with the coaching staff and players. Collaborate with and assist other staff members. Spiritually mentor and disciple the goalkeepers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships. Must be flexible, collaborative and have a positive attitude.
• Adhere to the community guidelines set forth for all faculty and staff and to help student athletes to comply with student life guidelines including academic support.
• Help in the recruiting process, holding individual technical training sessions as needed and to be a positive influence on the team.
• Be responsible for developing as a goalkeeper coach.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have a prior collegiate and/or professional goalkeeping background.
