With deep technical expertise and impressive flexibility, we develop solutions and processes that support and accelerate innovation.Join us on our mission to enable current and next-generation therapeutics to improve and save the lives of patients.Role Overview:The Production Technician is responsible for the safe, cost effective, and timely manufacture of product that is fit for intended use and meets customer requirements and production schedule.This position is 100% on site at Devens, MA facility and will follow a rotating shift 6AM-6PM schedule.Core Responsibilities:Promotes a positive work environment by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that their team members have the knowledge, skills and appropriate tools to perform their assigned duties and a thorough understanding of their performance expectations.Responsible for safety equipment and active participation in safety program and hazard analysis. Wears appropriate PPE for task.Responsible for reporting all near misses, accidents, and dangerous occurrences through the appropriate Company procedures to ensure an investigation is initiated.Completes batch records in accordance with FDA and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines.Ensures a level of housekeeping appropriate for a pharmaceutical manufacturer and maintain 5S areas.Demonstrates technical proficiency and self-assuredness in applying cGMP standards; Provide process support and troubleshooting necessary to meet all customer requirements.Ensures that waste is appropriately characterized, labelled, stored, and disposed in compliance with all Company, state and federal regulations. Works collaboratively with Environmental, Health & Safety, as appropriate.Active member of Emergency Response Team. Participate in Emergency Response Training and related activities.Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent1-2 years experience in regulated manufacturing facilityAble to lift 50lbs and occasionally lift and or/move more than 100 pounds using available material handling equipment; Obtain and maintain certification as forklift operatorMust be willing to work a rotating shiftAbility to read, analyze, and interpret English-language; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Good understanding of Microsoft OfficeAbility to exercise good judgment and make decision with guidance from senior team members or supervisorWhile performing the duties of this job it is required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch when necessary for job activity.Salary Range :The salary range for this role is $30.00–$32.00/hour. This range represents a good?faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program.
