Location: Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $36 flag + (based off experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical and heavy line repairs including engine overhauls, transmission work, driveline, and major component replacements.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using Ford-approved diagnostic equipment and processes.
- Perform warranty and customer pay repairs in accordance with Ford Motor Company and dealership guidelines.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and the shop foreman regarding diagnostics, repairs, and time estimates.
- Document all work performed on repair orders accurately and completely.
Qualifications
- Ford Certified Technician preferred; willingness to complete Ford factory training required.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Line Technician or equivalent automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
