Senior Lpmhc Job DutiesThe Senior LPMHC conducts comprehensive psychosocial and psychiatric diagnosis, including complex differential diagnoses. They provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy and advanced case management, serving veterans with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, polytrauma, TBI, addiction, and other conditions. They are well versed in providing complex crisis intervention and stabilization to patients who are in psychological distress. Duties include but are not limited to:Collaborate with assigned BHIP team through interdisciplinary consultation to ensure veteran needs are met and support optimum clinical care.Provides a full range of screening, assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for a variety of psychiatric disorders with a strong emphasis on the application of time limited, evidence-based approaches.Develops comprehensive treatment plans including projected discharge goals and timelines with veterans through use of shared decision making. Discharges (FLOW) Veterans from care when they have reached their identified goals, integrating internal and external support resources for the Veteran.Advanced and expert skill in a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities for Veterans with complex needs. This includes individual, group, and/or family counseling, or psychotherapy and advanced level psychosocial, and/or case management interventions used in the treatment of Veterans.Provides evidence-based interventions; trained in two or more evidence-based psychotherapy treatment modalities with strong evidence for a primary mental health disorder treated in BHIP (PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, etc) as recommended by VA/DOD Clinical Practice Guidelines.Conducts timely comprehensive assessment of at-risk Veterans in crisis to identify immediate needs, evaluate risk, and initiate safety plan as appropriate.Provides psychoeducation to patients and family members to support healthcare adherence and relapse preventionWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm; subject to change based on the needs of the facilityTelework: AvailableVirtual: This is not a virtual position.Functional Statement #: 00424FRelocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not AuthorizedEDRP Authorized: Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply for incentive.
