The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring smooth overnight operations at the hotel. Working independently and reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this position involves nightly auditing, cash management, and operational reporting. The Night Auditor also provides excellent customer service, monitors hotel security, and utilizes multiple hotel management systems to manage data efficiently without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct night audit procedures to ensure accuracy of daily transactions
• Manage cash handling and balance cash drawers
• Prepare and review financial and operational reports
• Provide courteous and prompt customer service during overnight hours
• Enter data accurately into hotel management systems
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor hotel security and report any irregularities
• Handle and resolve guest complaints effectively
• Set up breakfast area for morning service
