Hardware Engineer

Create and analyze technical requirements to determine the best electrical design solution for assigned projects Execute microprocessor-based embedded electronic designs for vehicle and/or fixed equipment applications Perform detailed analog and digital circuit analysis, simulation, integration, and verification activities Develop test and analysis plans to support product verification and validation Compile and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design calculations, and validation results Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management organizations as needed Collaborate with John Deere engineers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver project milestones on time Specific Tasks Author requirements documents and technical design documentation for assigned electrical engineering work Document circuit analysis, simulation results, and design calculations by agreed-upon due dates Author and execute verification and validation test plans and document test results Support product integration and on-site verification activities for embedded electronic systems Release or support release of product Bills of Materials and related engineering documentation Maintain accurate project documentation and provide updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and technical needs Engage with John Deere engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical questions and support project execution Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams during development and validation activities Required Capabilities (How will we measure fit?)
