Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Our oral surgery clinic is seeking a dependable, compassionate dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, works well with others, and helps patients feel comfortable throughout their care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon with extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery procedures.

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.

• Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols.

• Obtain dental X-rays as qualified and directed.

• Review patient histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Provide preoperative and postoperative instructions as directed.

• Help maintain an efficient schedule and a clean, organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred; oral surgery experience is a plus.

• Current Texas RDA registration and CPR/BLS certification .

• Strong communication skills and a caring approach to patient care, bilingual is a plus.

• Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

• DAANCE certification is a plus.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3 pm ; Fridays 7 am - 12 noon. 

Experience with dental insurance, treatment coordination, scheduling is a plus and may qualify candidates for higher compensation.
