Key Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
• Previous experience in special education or a related educational setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Able to adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learner needs
• Comfortable utilizing technology for virtual instruction (if remote)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to students with varying exceptionalities
• Assess individual student abilities and tailor educational plans accordingly
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and caregivers
• Track student progress and adjust plans as needed to promote academic and behavioral growth
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom or virtual learning environment
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
