Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and promote recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Proven experience in med-surg nursing or similar acute care setting.
• Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond effectively to patient needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with variable shift schedules.
