Hospice RN On Call Weekends

Job Description Friday 5:00pm-11:00 pm; Saturday/Sunday 8:00 am - 11:00 pm Full-time Hospice RN On-Call Territory: Respond to On-call needs within an hour Perform physical and psychosocial assessment on all hospice patients Assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patient and family regarding pain management Respond to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families Assess patient’s condition, initiate plan of care, re-evaluate and update as necessary Obtain all necessary physician orders and collaborate with physician as patient’s needs dictate Initiate case conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team responsibilities, pain management, bereavement counseling, etc. Benefits Competitive salary Mileage reimbursement Excellent PTO program (up to 136 hours in first year) Every Friday is payday!
