Shipping Loader
Shipping Loader A Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (may extend to 4:00 PM) Prattville, Alabama Pay: $17.00/hour Position Objective: Ensure efficient warehouse operations and quality customer service within shipping and receiving. Requirements:
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to load/unload trucks
SQF Responsibilities:
- Adhere to SQF and GMP standards for food packaging safety
- Support and follow all SQF Code requirements throughout production
Essential Functions:
- Load/unload deliveries using a forklift
- Verify shipment quantities and inspect for damage
- Maintain organized work areas
- Complete and submit all required shipping/receiving documentation
- Prepare shipments and fulfill picking tickets
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous shipping experience required
- Basic math and mechanical skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime/weekends
- Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain positive interactions
