This adult outpatient psychiatry role in Austin offers a focused clinical environment, clear structure, and the opportunity to deliver meaningful mental health care to an underserved population. Practice Details
- Ou tpatient psychiatry position serving adult patients within correctional facilities
- Provide direct psychiatric care, including evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management
- Conduct psychiatric, physical, and neurological examinations as part of comprehensive care
- Participate in civil commitment and due process proceedings when applicable
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric mid-level practitioners as assigned
- Active involvement in quality improvement and quality management initiatives

- Full-time role with assigned clinical hours
- Emergency psychiatric call responsibilities included
