This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.The Senior Groundskeeper position involves responsibility for supervising and performing maintenance activities for the upkeep of school property grounds.Duties:Assigns daily activities to subordinate staffMows lawns, seeds, and fertilizes playfield lawnsLines play fields and ball fields for athletic events, and cleans the grounds after sports eventsShovels snow from steps, building entrances, sidewalks, and driveways, and applies salt where necessary for ice control situations.Assists with maintenance tasks or helps move equipment and furnitureMay drive motor equipment to transfer operations, food, and suppliesReports to:The work is performed under the general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor and the Director of Athletics.
