Our Core Tax Services team is seeking a Tax Manager to support our Warrendale, PA market on a hybrid schedule (average 2-3 days/week in office).The successful candidate will manage the client's tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities. Candidates should be accustomed to working as the main point of contact with the client and will be comfortable in managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and client communications. This role will also be responsible for training and developing less experienced professional staff.As a Manager, you will:Manage multiple engagements and provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance recommendations to clientsPrepare and review complex tax returns for HNW Individuals, C-corps, S-corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts, and NFP'sManage team members and review work products for accuracy, completeness, budgets, etc.Work closely with internal managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationshipsMentor and coach various levels of tax staffResolve technical tax issues; respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authoritiesEnsure client deliverables are met within expectations and set deadlinesIntroduce additional firm services based on identified client needsWhat you bring to the role:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceActive CPA License5+ years of current or recent public accounting tax experienceDemonstrated knowledge of IRS and other tax authority regulations and standardsAbility to manage multiple projects/tasks on a timely basisAdept at meeting challenging client requirements and deadlinesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as employee management skillsDetail focused and driven to achieve high standardsProficient in utilizing tax software and overall computer skillsWhat you can expect from us:Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respectThe opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages youA collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional developmentCompetitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeingFlexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of workOpportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different culturesBenefits Information:Cherry Bekaert cares about our people.
