Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location : Charlotte, North Carolina
Days/Week: 5/week (40 hours/weekly)

Schedule Available:

• Mon-Fri weekdays
• Mon-Thu 4x10s 3rd shift
• Fri, Sat, Sun 3x12s 3rd shift

Specialty/Unit: IR Tech - RCIS candidates accepted

Pay Range: Tech I $34.90-$52.35/hr, Tech III $40.30-$60.45.

Call Requirement: “back-up” call as we have a 3rd shift IR team so call responsibility is back-up in case there is a second Stroke or Trauma, requiring a second emergent team.

Sign on and Relocation: Up to 15K Sign on Bonus and $5K Relocation

Certification/Licensure/Experience Requirements:

• ARRT (R), BLS required

Patient Demographic: Peds to Adult, Outpatient and Inpatient

Job Assignment Details:

• Scrubs and circulates Interventional Radiology Procedures.
• Must have experience with strokes and traumas.
• Must be able to take call and live within a 30-minute response time.

Growth Opportunity: Once worker completes orientation, they'll be eligible for the tech ladder program. This is a competency-based tier program that offers a 5% increase for each tier, potentially leading to a total increase of 10% from base pay.

Ideally, we are looking for an RCIS who has experience working in a busy hospital that treats many STEMI (heart attack) cases.

Job Summary: Assists in the various invasive angio and interventional procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Suite. Organizes surgical scrub and circulation duties for total patient care during and after the procedure. Monitors patients in the Interventional Radiology area.

Education:

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Graduate of an ANA accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or an accredited Radiology Interventional Program required.
• ARRT (R) required.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) required.
