You will be both a clinical resource and a people-centered leader — guiding staff, supporting clients, and upholding SCADD's commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.Responsibilities include:Directly supervise clinicians and/or recovery staff conducting therapeutic program activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standardsOrient and train new staff to program and clinical expectations, clinical approaches, and new initiativesAssist in orienting new staff to the electronic health recordReview and approve all clinical documentation in a timely manner, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other client-related documentsAssist in facilitating weekly multidisciplinary team meetingsSupport identification of client needs that cannot be met at the current level of care and collaborate on referrals to available support systems and community resourcesEnsure safety guidelines are followed, as well as compliance with state and local health, safety, and fire codesPerform direct care as needed to meet contractual obligations and budgetary performance expectationsParticipate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of dutiesWhat You'll Need:Master's degree in the human services field requiredIndependent licensure required: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT1+ year of supervisory experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of clinical/counseling experience desiredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusionAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhy SCADD?Since 1966, SCADD has remained at the forefront of substance use disorder treatment, continuously evolving to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities across Southeastern Connecticut.
