Quality Assurance Technician

This role focuses on performing hands-on quality assurance activities in a laboratory environment with regular exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing floor. The Quality Assurance Technician conducts mechanical and visual tests, verifies packaging quality, and documents all findings to support the production of high-quality engineered flexible materials for the healthcare market. Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tests on products and materials to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections, including taking precise measurements with a ruler, to verify product specifications.
• Carry out color matching activities, using accurate color perception to confirm that products meet defined color standards.
• Perform leak tests to confirm product integrity and identify any potential failures.
• Conduct tensile testing to assess material strength and performance under stress.
• Use a ruler and other basic measuring tools to confirm that packaging print is correctly positioned and aligned.
• Identify defects in products, packaging, and materials through systematic inspection and testing.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Experience in laboratory, quality inspection, production, quality control, or quality assurance environments is a plus.
• An associates degree at minimum is preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensenville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
